Building in public

What Matt's Building

Real tools, in progress, in the open. The frameworks stay proprietary — the lessons don't.

01WordPress

PRM Content Engine

A WordPress plugin paired with a Cloudflare Worker that runs a full AEO-first content pipeline end to end. Article generation, featured-image generation, SERP tracking, competitive intel briefs, social carousels, and content-integrity checks all live in one system — built so that what gets published is engineered to be cited by answer engines, not just ranked by search.

The lesson Matt shares

A content engine only compounds when every part feeds the next. The intel brief shapes the article; the article seeds the carousel; the integrity check keeps it honest. Automate the plumbing, keep a human on the judgment.

02Platform

ContentSiteEngine

A content management system built to rival WordPress — with far greater performance, speed, and AI-citable relevance. Static-first publishing means pages render as fast, clean HTML that both readers and answer engines can parse without wading through bloat. It's the foundation Matt would reach for when the goal is to get found and get cited.

The lesson Matt shares

Speed is a marketing advantage, not just an engineering one. When a page loads instantly and reads cleanly, humans stay and machines understand it — static-first publishing turns infrastructure into visibility.

03Content System

Content Flywheel

An omnipresent content system built on one idea: capture a single core moment — a video podcast — then repurpose it into the formats an audience already lives in. The long conversation becomes short-form video, social posts, written pieces, and more, so a brand shows up everywhere without burning out on everywhere.

The lesson Matt shares

You don't need more ideas — you need to mine the ones you already have. One good recording, treated as a source, can carry a month of presence across platforms when the repurposing is intentional instead of accidental.

OSINT, CRM & SaaS Tools

Lean software built for solo operators — the people running real businesses without a department behind them. Open-source-intelligence lead-finding to surface the right prospects, a small-business CRM to keep relationships from slipping, and prospecting tools that respect a person's time. Small, sharp tools that do one job well.

The lesson Matt shares

The tradecraft of finding and reading people transfers cleanly to lead generation. OSINT isn't surveillance — it's doing your homework before you reach out, so the first conversation already feels relevant.

Why build in public

Transparency Is a Trust Strategy

Matt spent a career learning to read people, assess intent, and earn trust the slow, honest way — as an Army interrogator and federal behavioral threat assessor. The throughline he carries into building software is simple: people trust what they can see being made.

Showing the work in progress — the wins, the dead ends, the lessons — is the same skill pointed somewhere new. It's harder than polishing a finished case study, and it's exactly why it builds the kind of trust a perfect demo never can. The frameworks stay proprietary; the thinking gets shared.

The Lessons Are in the Notes

The frameworks stay proprietary. The thinking behind them is written down — and open to anyone curious enough to read it.
